Is BBQ allowed?
BBQing is allowed provided we do not have a Stage 2/code red from www.natuurbrandrisico.nl. It may not be allowed during dry, hot periods. You can always check this on the Natural Fire Risk website or ask at the front desk.
For safety, there should always be a bucket of water near the BBQ.
How do I download the App?
Go into your App/Playstore and enter "Great Stay" in the search field. Then you can open it and search for our park. Choose your language and whether you want to receive push notifications.
In our App you will find all the information you need, but you can also order sandwiches and register for some animation activities.
Can I book for employees or temporary housing?
No, stay at Duinhoeve is allowed in accordance with local government policy for recreational purposes only.
Temporary housing or residence for employees is not allowed.
We are forced to terminate your stay if it appears that this is not the case. If you make a reservation at Duinhoeve, you also declare that you agree with this house rule. We may ask you to sign and hand in the declaration for this purpose at the reception desk.
Is it possible to check in after opening hours?
Yes, this is possible. Our reception is open from Monday till Saturday from 9.00 - 12.00h and from 13.00 - 17.00h and Sunday from 09.00 - 12.00h and from 13.00 - 15.00h. If you arrive after closing time, please let us know in advance. You can call us +31 (0)13 5111363 and we can dicuss the possibilities and prepare your check-in with using safebox and codes.
Is it possible to book two pitches or accommodations at one?
If you book online, you can only book 1 pitch or accommodation at the same time. It is possible to make two seperate reservations. In the comments section you can mention that the two reservations belong together.

Parking coins
The fee for a parking token is 4 euros .
Is there Wifi at the park?
On almost the entire park there is a free basic Wifi network available. Our rental accommodations (with the exception of Glamping Lodges, Fun Lodges, Summer Lodges, Safari tents and Tentvilla's) have their own wifi modem. In your accommodation there is a folder in which you can find the login code.
The basic network is meant for viewing an app, social media, e-mail etc., but not for streaming, downloading or uploading movies.
Are pets allowed?
A maximum of 2 pets per pitch are allowed on the pitches for an additional fee.
In most rental accommodations, pets are NOT allowed. In a few types and rental tents they are. You can find this in the accommodation overview.
Should a deposit be paid?
Yes, for pitches, this is required for the use of a shower pass / barrier pass. We ask €10,- deposit per pass (max. 2 passes per pitch). The deposit will be refunded at check-out if the pass is returned undamaged.
It is possible that a deposit of €100,00 per accommodation is required. This applies anyway to groups and festival guests.
Can I park my car at the pitch or accommodation?
Yes, 1 car may be parked at or near your pitch or accommodation. Additional cars can be parked in the general parking lot (for a fee of €4,00 per day). At some accommodations it is possible to park a 2ndcar. You can request this at reception.
Must there be paid in advance? If so how much?
Yes, the amount must be paid in advance. After your reservation is placed, we request that you pay half of the total amount (as well as the total amount of any cancellation insurance) within 14 days of the reservation date. The other half must be paid 4 weeks before arrival. The easiest way is to make your payment via the payment link in the confirmation email.
Are unaccompanied youths accepted?
Youth traveling alone are not allowed. They must be accompanied by at least one person 21 years of age or older.
They should keep in mind that they are staying at a family park. Groups of young people are not allowed. It is also not permitted to hold bachelor or other parties at Recreatiepark Duinhoeve. In the event of nuisance, you may be removed from the park without compensation.

What are the arrival and departure times for a pitch?
Camping place check-in time: From 1 p.m.
Check-out time pitch: Before 12.00 hours
In consultation a late departure can be booked. There will be a surcharge of €19,00 for 2 persons. Any extra persons pay €9,50 p.p. extra. You can stay until maximum 17.00 hours.
During busy (vacation) periods, late departures may not be possible.
After check-out, you cannot use our park facilities. You cannot park your camper/caravan/trailer in our central parking lot.
What is the size of a pitch?
About 100m².
Is Recreatiepark Duinhoeve suitable for the disabled?
The rental accommodations have no special facilities for the disabled and are accessible only by a step.
For the camping pitches, there is an adapted sanitary building near the field ''Uil''. A disabled toilet is available in the Smulhuis.
How many ampère is available?
Each camping spot has access to 10 ampere electricity. The camping rate includes electricity consumption. Except for pre-season, seasonal and annual pitches.
Do I have an own water tap, drainage, tv- and electricity connection?
Our Comfort pitches have their own water, drainage, electricity and TV connection. The Plus pitches have their own electricity, a shared water tap and are located on the Mol field.
Can I place a small extra tent at my campsite?
One small tent per pitch is allowed. This can not be bigger that 4m2 and should be a point or dome model. Keep in mind, that you should also park your car at the pitch.

What are the arrival and departure times?
Rental/tent check-in time: From 3 p.m.
Check-out time rental accommodation/tent: Before 10:00 a.m.
An early arrival (from 12:00) and/or later departure (until 14:00) is possible subject to availability and in agreement with reception.
The additional costs depend on the type of accommodation.
During busy (vacation) periods early arrival and/or late departure may not be possible.
After checking out, you can no longer use our park facilities.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Final cleaning is mandatory . The fee for this depends on the type of accommodation you have booked. You will have to take care of normal matters such as disposing of garbage to the proper containers yourself, gathering any rented sheet sets together upon departure, washing dishes and sweeping/dust vacuuming.
Is it possible to stay with more than the maximum number of people?
No, the accommodations are equipped for the specified number of persons. As far as there are beds, people may stay in them. There is an exception that in some accommodations 1 baby sleeping in a camp bed may stay as an extra person. This is only possible after consultation and permission of the reception.
Is it possible to place a baby camping cot in the bedroom?
In some accommodations it is possible to place a camp bed. This is indicated per type of accommodation in the description. You can bring it yourself or reserve it with us for €12.50. If you are unsure about the possibilities, please feel free to contact us.
Should I bring my own sheets?
Pillows and quilts are provided in all rental accommodations and tents. Some accommodations have double beds/mattresses, others have single beds/mattresses. Check the description of the rental accommodations.
It is possible to rent bed linen at € 12,50 per person.
It is also possible to rent towel sets at € 7,50 per package. A kitchen package (1 kitchen towel and 1 tea towel) can be rented for € 5,50 per package.
You may of course also bring your own.
Can I place a small tent at my accommodation?
No, at our accommodations and rental tents, additional tents are not allowed.

Rebooking fees
It is possible to add "rebooking fees" at the time of booking at the rate of 24.50 euros per pitch. This allows you to change your booking to another period in the same year up to 7 days before arrival date. If you do not add this at the time of booking, the normal cancellation conditions of the Recron Conditions will be applied.
No possibility to go through entrance to the pool with a pram or buggy
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GO THROUGH THE ENTRANCE CONTROL TO THE POOL WITH A PRAM OR BUGGY. THERE IS A SIDING FOR PRAMS/BUGGIES OUTSIDE THE GATE. YOU CAN, HOWEVER, BRING A MAXI COSI.
